Between 2003 and 2011, Alison spent significant periods with the Australian Institute of Sport Biomechanics and Performance Analysis departments working within a number of technical sports
including athletics.

Alison has followed MPhil and PhD research programmes in Biomechanics and uses her biomechanical and performance analysis skills in her own coaching, coach education and resource development. She is a world leader in biomechanics of Paralympic Seated Throws.
Alison specialises in applied application of the movement sciences and this focus has directed her own research programme which can be viewed here.
